    I need a recommendation for a read aloud for a family with children ages 7 and 3.  I am part of a book swap and I am paired up with someone who’s children are this age. Any suggestions?

    MY 6 and 4 year olds love Here’s a Penny, Penny and Peter, and Penny Goes to Camp by Carolyn Haywood. We are on the last one now (Penny Goes to camp) and they are both excited to read it every night.

    My boys, 8 and 3, like the picture book, The Big Green Pocketbook by Candice Ransom.

    Brer Rabbit or Uncle Wiggly stories would appeal to most ages, too, I think.
