I have a resource scheduled where I don’t really care which order they complete their objectives in. How do you mark things complete/”worked on” in a random order?

An example: In the case of a book, they read ch 4 then part of ch 6. In the CMO, I just put all the chapters in. It shows me that we need to do ch 1 first. Except now, I need to mark off completed ch 4 and worked on ch 6. How do I do that? Can I?

    Thanks! Smile

A few options come to mind:

One would be to schedule each chapter individually, though that could get clunky quickly since you’d have multiple resources on your schedule with the same title.

Another way would be to schedule the resource, then when you know which chapter you did first, you can edit the schedule and rearrange the divisions to put those chapters first. Save the schedule and go back to the Daily Plan to mark off the chapters you’ve completed.

And then finally, you could copy the resource to make a private version, delete all the chapter titles on the divisions, and then use the assignment note box to record which chapter you did. You’d still have a book with all the chapters, but you wouldn’t be tied to a specific order.

Thank you for your ideas! I’ll give it a try.
