    DD has remained fever free and her cough continues to lessen. She is sleeping much better, too. She lost several pounds and looks a bit gaunt, is weak and tires easily, and has a limited appetite, but she is improving day by day now. Praise be to God!

    Thanks, again, for praying for her. What a blessing to lift friends, online or in real life, before the throne.

    Haven’t been on in a while because we took the month of July off of schooling while hosting an exchange student, so I’m just hearing about this now.  How scary, but so glad that she is on the road to recovery now!  We will continue to pray for her!

    Christie, I haven’t been on this forum for a couple weeks with the busy summer, but my heart sank as I read through your posts. I’m so thankful to hear your dd is recovering. God is good! In VBS today, the kids learned 2 Corinth. 1:4…

    3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

    May God comfort you in your dd’s illness so in turn you can comfort her.

    I have been praying for your family as well ! Such a relief to hear that she is progressing and there are signs of improvement ! Praying for a speedy recovery and her health  & strength to be restored 🙂 Yours as well ! Keep us updated.

    Thank you for continued prayers. DD14 is steadily recovering and her spunk has returned!

    Please add dd8 to your prayers. I had to pick her up early from sewing camp today. She’d had a bad headache and was in tears. We got home and she had a fever of 102, sore throat, headache, and tummy ache. She began coughing this evening. Her fever went to 103.3.  I hope we can keep her from getting as sick as dd14 was.

    Also, I began feeling achy this afternoon and I have a ticklish cough and low grade fever on top of being exhausted. I’m slated to speak on CM and Her Methods at the local homeschool  convention on Saturday.

    I covet your continued prayer for our family.

    Another very knowledgeable mom from my co-op is going to give the my Intro to CM and Her Methods presentation at the local homeschool convention today at 1 pm. She was got sort of nicely pressured into it by her friend on convention’s board. I converted it to print for her (she is not tech savvy) and putting In a folder.
    She was already otw to convention this am when she was called and asked. Please Pray for her.

    I’m pretty sure dd8 and I have the flu. Thus far the males in the family are unaffected. Thank you for praying
