    Ok I love the PM it’s so great when you’d like to talk more and get to know others without leaving your email on the board.  BUT the part that is very annoying is that it gets skinnier and skinnier each time someone writes.  Is there a way that it could be fixed so it doesn’t do that?  Just my 2cents but it would be helpful, as it actually gets hard to read with each new post.

    Yes!  I had a lengthy conversation with someone once and it was crazy ridiculous how small the box was getting.  I wanted to see what would happen if we kept talking, but the conversation ended before we could see how small it got.

    The smallest I got the box to go was 4 words across.  At that point we gave up and started a new private message!

    I’ve had conversations that have gone to one LETTER wide. ;0) EEK!!! Had to switch to e-mail.

    While agreeing, I wanted to share something I did not realize until recently. You can add other members to your private coversation. So there could be 4 members on the PM, for example.

    Maybe that’s what I need–the “SCM/PM Diet”–to make me skinnier!

    Seriously, I’ve noticed the shrinking message width, too, and I wondered about deleting older parts of the conversation….but with my memory (or lack thereof), I often reread older parts of the message while I’m replying.

    I guess those really don’t need to be indented for most purposes. I’ve removed it.
