I am looking for a biography to go with Mendelssohn for next year.  I’d like to find something like the Opal Wheeler books, or even an audio story akin to Mr.Beethoven Lives Upstairs.  So far, Mendelssohn is the only one I’m having trouble finding, even with a Google search.  Also, my library system is awesome about library loans; they don’t charge (yay) so even if it’s a rare or out of print book, I can probably get my hands on it that way.  Any ideas?

    Thanks Ladies,

Just this week I found a series called The Child’s Own Book of Great Musicians by Thomas Tapper on Project Gutenburg. I know Mendelssohn is listed in the front of one I downloaded. I downloaded a couple to review soon, but haven’t actually done so yet. However, It will give you a place to start perhaps.

    Blessings,
