I hit the JACKPOT at our local used bookstore today and picked up LOTS of art books. I wrote a post on my blog about the great finds. They weren’t super cheap, but I still got a great deal.

fyi…I’m moving my blog over to blogspot because of its user friendliness.

    Christie,

That looks like a load of good books. I just love when I get good books. I hit a few myself yesterday at the thrift store. I picked up “Volcanoes & Earthquakes” by Time Life The Nature co. Discoveries library, for 60 cents. I also picked up ” Childrens Night Sky Atlas” by Robin Scagell. A DK book, it was 75 cents. My biggest find that I was very pleased with because I wanted the kids to learn about the different systems was the ” Uncover the Human Body” written by Luann Colombo. It was a whopping 40 cents!  It had some cover damage but who cares for $ 0.40 ??  I also purchased something you might like. It was a book called, “Not Milk… NUT MILKS!  40 of the most original Dairy-free Milk Recipes Ever!” by Candia Lea Cole. I think that one was 50 cents. I think you would like that one. I was so excited to see that one. I also picked up a few herb books. One I have been wanting to read for years. Dr. Christophers herb book. I think that one might have been a dollar but I was so excited to even see it there!

I really like how you put the books on your blog with a rotating shelf. How did you do that?  I am impressed!  Glad you hit the books, so to speak… 🙂 Tehe he…

I just love a good book, even better when I didn’t have to pay full price for it! 🙂

                         Blessings!

Chocodog, you did WAY better price wise than I did. I did pay higher prices, but I was so excited to find so many BIG picture/small text art books in one place for less than amazon prices, we went for it.
