I am looking for advice on programs that have good parental controls for computers.   My son manages to bypass the Microsoft parental time control.  He should be limited on time but it doesn’t for him. Any thoughts or suggestions on what works?  Thanks, Rhonda

I’ve heard good things about Circle.

We use Qustodio to monitor, block, and report content.  I don’t know about how it works for actual time controls, though.

Parental controls only work if the child is on a child account and has no access to the administrator account.

He may know how to change passwords at the set up menu. If he does, then set your admin password from that set up screen too.

Another idea is to set a timer for yourself on your phone or a kitchen timer, and enforce it that way.
