Our Island Story and This Country of Ours

Does anyone use these books?

I love them but our first love was Story of the World. I thought I could combine them all but there is so much overlap and – I never thought I’d say this – just too many good living books in our history program this term! I have to let them go but I don’t want to get rid of them :(.

My children are in elementary now and I am thinking of coming back to these titles when we circle back through history in middle/high school. Would the books still be appropriate for teens? Or would they be way beyond them?
