I got this forwarded to me and I wanted to share.  I don’t live in Canada, but I love these stories in the mist of tragic life changing times there are people who will step up and do the right thing when it’s dangerous and time is of the essense.

I cried, just a FYI.  I know that this mans family will forever be grateful for everything these men and woman did for there son.  It just reminds me that for allt he wrong in the world God is still in the mist of it all!  Praise Him always!  Also, to the men and women who were there helping, thank you where ever you are.

I Know. This is so very sad! And so shocking! It made me cry too, Misty.

Thanks for linking this, Misty.  I am in Canada and, in shock, watched much of the coverage on Wednesday evening.  I couldn’t bring myself to read or view any more news stories yesterday so I’m glad you sent this one, for all the reasons you said above.  It sure brought a few more tears to my eyes.  The bravery and compassion of those who just knew in the last moments to keep say “you are loved” is just beyond my words.  God bless those people and all they did to provide comfort despite the shock, stress and tragedy.
