Hi fellow C.M lovers. I am new here, enjoying all the info I am learning from this forum. I have two little girls, five and two. We live in Nigeria Africa, fallowing my husband (gladly) for work. I need to get some books together to send with our shipment this summer, for my little lady. Do any of you know where a good online book store would be. I want to be able to look at the books for sale. Unlike amazon or B&N where you search for the book of interest. I need to gather a lot of books for the whole next year…no book stores here in Nigeria. Any thing that comes to mind would be wonderful.

    Have a good day

    Why can’t you use Amazon?

I do use Amazon. All the time. I have to buy the majority of my books for the year at one shot. With Amazon I find it hard to manage all the books shipping and arriving. I am all so not there to recive and organize the books as they arrive. For me it has been easier to go through web sites that offer a few or more books. Then I can get a bunch of books checked of at once. Does that make sense? I have used the book finder here on this web page and love it and have been going to amazon for those books. I guess I want to know if there is a good web site that has a lot of living books presented that I would not think of off the top of my head. Also other ‘home school’ resources would be a great help. I have found some good ones just wondering if there are any ‘realy’ good ones.

Hi Rosaleen! Have you seen Rainbow Resource? They have lots of books & supplies, excellent prices and shipping!

Yes, RainbowResource is a great resource. There is also Timberdoodle, Vision Forum, and CBD (Christian Book Destributors)..none of these are exclusively CM bookstores but they all have great resources.

I really like http://www.half.com because you can get many books from the same seller and they give you discounts for shipping. Living Books Curriculum has a lot of living book suggestions as does Ambleside Online (with links to free books online).
