I was wondering if anyone has used Noble Knights of Knowledge Math Program. I saw it on the CM book list. My son is in 1st grade and we’ve tried Math U See and he doesn’t seem to do well with it. It is very repetitive for him and dull. He loves stories, word problems and manipulatives with MUCH variety. I checked out the Noble Knights of Knowledge program and it seems to have all of that. Thanks for any insight you can give me.

This is a really old thread, but just wondering if anyone has tried this program and what you thought of it.

I’ve heard of it, but from what I know it is no longer being published so it is hard to find a copy, if not impossible. Some people use Life of Fred when they want a storyline. And there are lots of math story books like the Sir Cumference series, the MathStart series.

Living Math website has lots of topics and lists books for those topics under the Readers tab. http://www.livingmath.net/Home/tabid/250/Default.aspx

    Hope that helps!
