New to CM, question about MUS prealgebra

    In looking over the scope and sequence of MUS prealgebra, I see things that my child can do now. Would you folks recommend going over those things using the manipulative s or just letting her do some problems to be certain she can do them, then moving on?

    If you are certain she both understands the underlying concepts and can do all the problems, I’d allow her to demonstrate this on the test and go on.

    I would go over them to make sure she understands them fully, and doesn’t just know the formula.
