We are studying the Westward Expansion and I thought Frederic Remington would be a great artist since he painted so many wild west portraits.  But I’m having trouble finding some that are affordable and laminated.  When we did Grandma Moses, I was able to find laminated cards on ebay, but I can’t find any for Remington.  They are all individual and expensive.  Too bad there are none in the simply charlotte mason bookstore (I looked there first 😉

Does anyone have any ideas where I could find some?  I could go to the library and get a book, but I like to keep these at home for my younger kids to study later.

    Thanks,

    Paula

Did you check Amazon? A while back I had seen many used books of his art for a very reasonable price.

You may not be looking for this format, but the Spring/Summer 2015 edition of Homeschooling Today has an article about Frederic Remington. There are five of his pictures included.  (Dismounted:  The Fourth Trooper Moving the Led Horses, Comanche Brave, Self Portrait, Buffalo Hunter Spitting a Bullet Into a Gun, and The Winchester)

Previous issues are available for purchase.
