Hi. I’m interested in studying birds with my children and wondered if anyone here has used Nature Explorers guides. I’m also interested in SCMs bird study. Would the two complement each other or be too much together?  Even if you’ve used other titles of Nature Explorers guides – I’d love to hear about it!

I have her 100+ creative nature walks book and I have liked it, it has great ideas! I have gone back and forth about trying the other nature explorers guides, they seem great! There is a blog I read and she uses these nature explorers books extensively  a and she has a ton of reviews on her blog http://unplugyourfamily.blogspot.com/search/label/NaturExplorers?m=0#.WPGAaSNOnqA

Our little co-op used Fungus Among Us and Animal Signs last year. We enjoyed them very much.  Even a year later, my children are thrilled to find a mushroom pop up, and “lichen” is a common word if we are in a wooded area.
