    Hello, I hope everyone is doing well. I don’t know anyone in my state who is doing CM and it seems all the workshops ect. are not around here. Wondering if anyone is from this area. Looking to find more field trips w/in our state. I did see the 2 posted on the CM website, but looking for more. DH doesn’t like to travel. So we stay close to home.

    Just starting out and looking to make some friends.

    I’m not from MN, but welcome! I know that this icannot take the place of sitting with a like-minded cm’r and sharing over cups of tea, but I hope that as you interact with some of these precious ladies here, you will find that you are supported tremendously.

    Thank you Cindy I really appreciate that. We just finished our 3rd quarter and are done with our books. I am not ordering anymore from ACE and we are just going to do a study on MN and the boys want to study trees. Math, Bible, Spelling as usual as is memory work. I am excited to be starting CM in Aug. and hope you all will be here when I am lost. I like a planner and the idea of a set schedule of timing. I think I will post that question…

    I thought of you today, Misty, when we were reading our George Washington Carver biography. It talked about his wonder and excitement to learn about a whole new set of trees when he arrived in Alabama and saw them. The trees there were, of course, different from the ones he had studied in Iowa. I thought, “If George Washington Carver wanted to study trees when he was an adult, Misty’s boys can certainly study trees now if they want to. And they’ll be in good company!” 😉
