We are planning for Module 4 with 2 students; essentially 1st and 5th grades. I’d like to know if any of the books for this module are used for a brief enough amount of time to be borrowed from the library instead of purchased. Of course, I prefer to own all the books we’re going to use, but with 2 levels to teach, I’m not sure it will be feasible this year. I appreciate any input.

    Blessings,

    PS, Hey ya’ll! It’s been a while ;o)

Good to hear from you, LillyLou!

    Let’s see, potentially short reads:

    Castle by David MacCaulay

    Cathedral (too)

    Leif the Lucky

Brother Francis and the Friendly Beasts

    Apple and the Arrow

    Medieval Feast

    Castle Diary

    Pippo the Fool

    Marguerite Makes a Book

Leonardo da Vinci by Diane Stanley

    Michelangelo (too)

King Arthur and His Knights (audio)

I think that’s most of them in the grades you mentioned.

    Sonya,

Thank you so much, that helps a lot! By the way, we just love your family guides; we’re in Module 3 now and did Module 2 last year. I can’t say enough good things about everything we’ve purchased from you. I’m especially excited about Module 4-my girls are going to have a blast with that time period. I can’t wait! Thank you for the time and dedication you commit to these resources, you’re a true blessing :o)

    Blessings,

    LillyLou
