I’m curious how you are using Peril and Peace in the revised Module 2 guide. As a family? If so, how young would you say this is appropriate for in terms of their emotional readiness. As an independent read for older children?

My school-aged girls who would possibly read this are 9 (nearly 10) and 7. My boys, 8 (delayed English-learner) and 4, would not.

    Thank you for your thoughts.

SORRY! It’s in Module 3 … Ancient Rome.

We have included selected biographies for the whole Family to read together (those that we thought would be appropriate, as you mentioned) and assigned the grades 10-12 students to read the remaining chapters as well.

Of course, just because we suggest a chapter for the entire family to read, please keep your own children’s comfort levels in mind. You can edit or omit as needed when reading aloud.

This is very helpful, Sonya. Thank you so much, as always.
