Module 2 History – Which Book to Choose?

    Hi There,

    My question is for Module 2 History, Grades 4-6

    Which book would you recommend “A Wonder Book” or “The Golden Fleece”?

    My boys will be 10 by the end of this year and they still struggle to read, but they’re pretty good with oral narration. Want to use the book that will draw their interest and understanding. Thanks for your help, Jen

    I used A Wonder Book and it was a good book.  I can’t compare the two though sorry.  My son’s were 9 & 10 when they read it.

    I am gathering my items for this coming year, and we are working on both Greece and Rome.  So, when it came to that choice, I found A Wonder Book free in the Kindle section on Amazon. Also, if you look up Padraic Collum’s books on Amazon, I believe there is one that you can preview and read to see his writing style.  I believe I was also able to read a preview of A Wonder Book, but I can’t remember if it was on Amazon or elsewhere.  This might help you decide.
