    I’d like to know your best tips for teaching math facts over the summer to a soon-to-be sixth grader that has just never quite gotten it. He’s gotten the concepts of 5th grade math, just not the facts – addition all the way to division. I know that 6th grade will be much easier for him if he can speed up the calculations.

    We use the Flashmaster. I gulped over the price, and then gave in to buy it. It’s handy to take along on the van & I can track & see how dd does. We also find the free sites on the web where dd can practice Math facts with games.

    Sonya ~ I’ll have to look into some of what you mentioned.
