Longs Language Lessons or Harvey’s Grammar

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with either of these. My son is in 4th grade. We used The Good and The Beautiful Language Arts for 2nd and 3rd but are not thrilled with it this year. I find myself really liking the content of some of these older texts but at the same time, it is not always easy to determine where to start with them (as far as placement, for a 9 YO 4th grader). Anyway, before we make the switch I’d like to hear BTDTs and suggestions. Thank you!
