    For those of you interested, we now have an updated list of our recommended living science books for grades 1-12.

    Thank you! What a wonderful resource. I have a question about 7th and 8th grade. Would the books be something we would use along with Apologia,  or would the books listed be enough for Science?

    The books listed for grades 7-12  would not be enough for a complete science course because the books are not comprehensive enough to cover all the material that would be covered in a textbook like Apologia. The books can be used as supplements to give your student a living science component to a textbook science course or they can be used as free reads if your child has a particular interest in science.
