    Any ideas for good Family reads that are about sailing for a Yr. 1 little guy? Swallows and Amazons is all that comes to mind!

    He’s a bit young, but my husband likes the Horatio Hornblower series. I figure my son will read them around 10-12 years.

    Great idea for further down the road … I know my hubby will be heading that one up ;0) … we run a sailing school business … need I say more?!

    I don’t know if this is what you’re looking for but we have 2 from Gloria Rand- Salty Dog and Salty Sails North.  A man sailing with his dog with great adventures.
