Depends on ages.  Destination: Moon by astronaut James Irwin we liked.  The Moon Book by Gail Gibbons.  Planets, Moons, and Stars Take Along Guide by Evert.  Glow in the Dark Constellations by Thompson.

Also, what about studying a scientist/astronomer?  Galileo comes to mind.  Starry Messenger by Peter Sis.   Or read about an astronaut?

Spinning Worlds – …. sigh, missing from my shelf so I can’t say by whom. Possibly the last name Caroll. it was nice for K-3 age read aloud, creation science view of planets.
