My 7-year-old son just joined a 4-H pigeon club 🙂 Does anybody have any good book recommendations relating to pigeons?

There is a well done picture book, “Cher Ami,” about a beloved and heroic carrier pigeon in World War I. There may be more books written about Cher Ami but I remember my boys enjoying this around your son’s age.

Families in my library have really enjoyed Gay-Neck, a Newberry winner from the ’50’s.
