What are your thoughts on this program? Do you find it worth the cost? How often do you use it? Could you get by with just the Laying Down the Rails for Children book?

We love it! We use it one time a week, and you really should have both books.  Laying Down the Rails breaks down everything Charlotte has said in her 5 volumes about each habit, and its importance. Laying Down The Rails for Children breaks down each of those habits into 8-15 attainable lessons to help us implements what we read about the habits in the first book. I highly recommend it.

Laying Down the Rails for Children refers you back to Laying Down the Rails to read Charlotte Mason’s thoughts on each habit before beginning the lessons. The two books are designed to be used together.
