I don’t know if any of you are familiar with Judy Rogers’ music, but she is a friend (and a mom of my friend) who has written some great music for children and adults alike. The two favorie cd’s of our are “Go to the Ant” (songs about Proverbs) and “Why Can’t I See God?” (songs about children’s catechism questions). She just finished a new cd “Blessed” about the Beatitudes. I just wanted to put this out there in case you may want to check it out – I think her music is invaluable and a treasure to our little family so I felt I needed to share! Smile

Totally agree with this! I have had her first 2 CDs for many years. When my oldest ds was in his early teens and struggling with lots of things he used to put on her CD why can’t I see God? I think the song he liked the most was called Talk to Me….about how he loves it when we talk to him. Very good stuff!

the little girl singing “Talk to me” is actually one of my closest friends (one of Judy Rogers’ daughters) – she and I have children the same age and my son thinks it’s so neat that it is her singing – that is one of his favorites too 🙂 I’ll have to pass this along to her when I see her this evening, she’ll appreciate it. The new Beatitudes cd is very nice (and her children are actually singing on it), we’ve been enjoying it alot – you should check it out!

I told my friend your story last night and she said “yeah, someone liked my song! 🙂 ” she was glad that your family found it helpful and meaningful.

Heidi, I asked my friend (Judy’s daughter) and she said that she is working on trying to get her music on iTunes so maybe that would be an option that would be less expensive in the future. She also said that she does ship to Canada often and she was going to check to see if she had found a less expensive way to do that. I’ll let you know when she hears back from her.
