Hi ladies – it has been a looonnng time since I’ve been on the forum, but I had a question I felt like someone here could answer. My son has just finished MUS Pre-Algebra and I was planning on having him do Jacob’s Algebra next year. I was wondering if anyone else has done that and how it went. Also, what did you do after that? Up until now I have just done MUS and have loved it, but didn’t know that I wanted to do that all the way through. If I have him do Jacob’s Algebra this year, Geometry after that, I am not sure where I would go from there….just working on the big picture plan for the HS years and would appreciate input from anyone who has done this before me! 🙂 Thanks! Lesley

I used MUS,  but another option after Jacobs is Ask Dr. Callahan.

My gifted son is using Art of Problem Solving.

We used Harold Jacobs for Algebra and Geometry, I felt inferior in the geometry teaching so we had my sons use Derek Owens videos and 📓 to supplement…it’s not necessarily CM but worked great for my two older kids.. and it was something they could do on their own 😉
