    Hi there.

I am a Spanish native speaker married to my anglo hubbie. We are reading the complete series of CM and at the moment we are ong page 83 about  Delightful reading box.  For sure it is a fact we will start using the Delightful box for our DD,  but I wonder if I  can find, create or use a similar version of this box in Spanish.

I have my own method to teach spanish using rules as I was taught during my childhood but I believe that CM method is divine inspired.

I really would like to do it in my native language but I dont know how to.

    I would appreciate your help.

    Grace.

I haven’t seen any box or kit in a Spanish version, but I would think you could follow the same steps to teach reading in any language.

    Thanks Sonya for your reply.

I am doing a research in the latin market (with friends and relatives) to see if there is any method that follows Charlotte Mason approach. I am a native Spanish speaker and I have relatives working in the education sector but never ever heard of this method.  But I would still think that it might be something similar to have a look and compare.

In the meantime in another forum that follows Charlotte Mason ideas, there are some people interested to join this idea and build from scratch a delightful reading box in Spanish.

I would not start this idea till I find good classical literature in Spanish from children literature writers, choosing wisely poems to teach my DD.

I am trying to figure it out to follow the steps but sometimes I feel it is hard.. anyway!!! it is a matter of trying ..

    Regards.
