    Hi Ladies,

I recently purchased the Art Authority K-12 app to use for picture Study and I thought it might be of interest to others.

I’d be interested in an app for picture study, only we’re getting an Android tablet. Is this app only for Apple users? Does anyone have an Android-based tablet with an art app for picture study? We’re getting one tomorrrow.

I have the Art Authority K-12 app (which avoids nudity by cropping it out) on my iPad, I looked and saw Art Authority for android, but not the k-12 version:(

I hope you have fun with your new tablet, it can be a great tool for nature study (one neat app is leafsnapHD).

I have and love Art Database by totiherms for iPad. It has 1000s of works in excellent quality with info. on each. I don’t know if it comes for Android.

I found a good one called Timeline. It doesn’t crop out nudity, but I can prescreen easily. There are 5-6 works per artist, with the option for an in-app purchase for more. Plus, per the name, the artists are arranged on a timeline, so you can see art in chronological order. I’m using a Nexus 7.
