Though I have been registered here for many years I have not always checked in. Life is so full. I thought I’d introduce myself and hope some others would too so I can meet some of you.

I tend not to share my name except by private message because sometimes I share things like the fact my son has dyslexia or other things like that. I try to keep things anonymous on the boards for my children’s sake when things can be read by anyone.

I have always homeschooled and I love a lot of CM methods but don’t follow them strictly as I also have an identity directed philosophy and adapt the child’s education to what they need.

My oldest two are graduated. One is 21 and working on his Electrical Engineering Degree and one is 18 and heading off to Bible College this fall with a focus on counseling or children.

I am still schooling  16 and 14 year old sons. Well, they will turn 16 and 14 in a little over a week.

    Would love to meet you.

Hi,  I am not on much either.  I like to stop by occasionlly to see what’s happening.

I have always homeschooled our four children. I wish I would’ve learned of charlotte mason when I first started.  I am fascinated with the method but I too adapt the children’s education to what each of them are needing.

My two oldest have graduated.  The oldest, soon to be 22, is working a full time job.  The 21 year old is at home. He’s big  into computers. He and his younger brother built their own computer.

I am still homeschooling our 17 and 14 year old, soon to be 15.  Our 17 DS wants to get his pilot license with missions his focus.  He has already taken a course called Introduction to Aviation. I think that’s the right name.  Our 14 DD wanted chickens. We’ve had them a year now. They actually survived! lol  She loves her chickens and has them named, Butterball, Goldie, Nugget, and Buffy(  short for Buffalo wild wings) We love having the eggs.

……..the more I think about it, the more I think we lean toward Unschooling.. but with structure, you might say… I don’t know..

    Nice hearing from you 🙂
