    That’s what I’m thinking. Have you read a sample of the TQ commentary?

    I like it a lot, and I think it will spark more lively discussions during our history time. And TQ recommends many of the same books, but many more that I think we will benefit from. It gives me more to choose from and the freedom to focus on one event or person without feeling rushed to stick to a lesson plan.

    Does that answer your questions at all?

    Yes, that helps. I have AHYSI already and have selected our books at the library in a file. I was going to just move along when ready but I like the idea of a schedule from SCM. I don’t know if I’ll feel pressure to move along if I see how slow we may actually be moving so that was one reason I hesitated. I was contemplating doing that with our geography studies until they came out with the “Visits to…” Series. The TQ yahoo group is very encouraging as well.
