Has anyone used this as a spine? And can it be adapted to use with an older student (gr. 7)? I’d love to hear what a typical “lesson” looks like in your house. 🙂

Stories of America, Volumes 1 and 2 and Stories of the Nations, Volumes 1 and 2 are all scheduled as history spines in our Early Modern & Epistles and our Modern Times & Epistles, Revelation lesson plans. You can download samples of each lesson plan book to see how the Stories of books are used.

Basically, the Stories of books are read by all grades together. Then, additional books that go deeper into the events or people introduced in the Stories of books are assigned to each grade level for additional reading.
