How do you do dicatation?

    I am new to posting, but not new to this site. I have gotten so much wonderful advice just reading everyone’s posts! I am now in need of my own help. My oldest son is now 13, and we are just now getting to the longer dictations. We are using Spelling Wisdom Book 3. I use it as copy work for three days (this is the best way for him to study, by choice), and then I would normally dictate on day 4. How do you do this when they begin working on paragraphs? Just curious. I’d love to get some better ideas! Thanks so much.

    You could have him study the whole passage and prepare it, but then you select only a portion to dictate.
