    Do you find yourself speaking (and thinking) in 19th Century English after a spell of reading?  LOL

    Go you guys!!!! I have tried to read her original works and unfortunetly I think it would take me over a year to read 1 book 🙁 It takes my brain forever to grasp the words.

    I too found it in the beginning very hard to read the book. I found myself reading a sentence 2-3 times sometimes aloud to myself before I understood what I was reading(I was thinking it is just me since English is my second language). But I have to say if you stick to the book it will get much easier to basically no problem at all after a while:)

    @3littlegirls  yes, I do feel like I think and sometimes speak in Victorian English.  I finished Home Education last week. I have moved onto Parents and Children.
