    My oldest is in high school and we are exploring different Biology options or helps/resources.  Particularly, I would like your input on lab work options, and if anyone has tried using Khan Academy for science or computer studies for high school?

    Also, my oldest desires to become a horse vet, so I wondered if anyone might have recommended resources for equine studies?

    We have used Apologia Biology for 3 kids so far and will continue using it. The labs are solid.

    Most of my friends kids do labs with a co op or summer intensive class.  We do our own with ACE DVDs, library books, and some with specific  dissection guides such as lobster.

    Finding a vet to shadow or assist is your best bet. Maybe even a farrier.
