Hello, my son is 14 and in 8th grade. He
is very behind on math. He hasn’t even done
multiplication, division and is still on
addition and subtraction. He has done some Life
Of Fred and some mental math on his own. I am so
stressed out about where he is not in math. I don’t
know where to start to speed him up, because he will
be starting 9th grade next year. Would the Charlotte
Mason Math be good for him? I am constantly overwhelmed
    about this. Thanks so much.

You can always try teaching textbooks.  It is a simple program that takes the stress off of mom.  It may be a little “behind” other math programs, but boys tend to take to it.  We are not all created to be math smart and in my case,  “relationship” with my son, meant more than that program we were struggling with before.

Thank you Stephanie. I appreciate your thoughts. I think I’m going to start with something else for now. 🙂
