Does anyone have familiarity with the College of the Ozarks, also known as HardWork U? Sounds so intriguing. Thinking a “field trip” to the Ozarks may be in order?
Stephanie BParticipantHello! I have 2 cousins and a great friend who have graduated or go to C of O. It is a wonderful school nestled in the heart of the beautiful Ozark Mountains. It is a Christian Campus where students work on campus placements to help cover the cost of their own education. There are many opportunities to work in different areas. My cousin Tiffany worked in administration and my dear friend Carley is working in the cafeteria (and loves it!). As a Christian college, attendance at C of O chapel service is required 5 times each semester. I believe this college, and our Ozarks, are a hidden gem. Definitely worth a field trip but, these are my beautiful Ozarks, and I might be a little biased. 🙂
BenitaParticipantThank you Fannyloo. We are intrigued by this concept of college and plan to take a little family trip this summer to visit.
Morgan ConnerParticipantMy family and I visit the Branson area frequently. We always stop at College of the Ozarks for a bite to eat at the Keeter Center (their restaurant). We have also done the walking tour of the campus. I am hoping that one or more of my kids will want to attend some day!
It’s a beautiful campus and the whole concept is fantastic!
There are so many things to do around that area-enjoy your trip!
