Sonya, thank you for this blog post.
I feel as though you were a fly (butterfly?) on the wall in my home, and could see how broken our interactions are, and gently fluttered in with just the right words, and practical steps, to turn things around. I copied most of the post into my journal and am so thankful for this cool, calm touch on my fevered, sad heart. Know that God is using this in my life. 🙂
KelleyParticipantSame here! What a refreshing read!
LinabeanParticipantReally appreciated this blog post as well and am planning on incorporating this habit into our school year. I have been looking and thinking and praying and figuring how to go about this very thing for a long time now and get my whole family on board. This post put into words, perfectly, what I have been going for and laid out smaller, specific, tangible, habits to work on all together to bring this larger habit of family harmony and happiness to fruition! Thank you!
Alicia HartParticipantWe just finished reading this as a family! So timely as we were all extra crabby and irritable with each other yesterday. THANK YOU!
Sonya ShaferModeratorOh, I’m so glad it was helpful! Thanks for letting me know.
vikingkirkenParticipantThis post is very timely for us as well. I am going to bookmark it to re-read many times! Thank you for the wisdom!
