    Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to incorporate some hands-on activities into our science lessons and/or any book suggestions that might be helpful.

    Thanks

I would HIGHLY recommend the elementary Apologia series.

I just recieved our very first elementary Apologia book. My 10 year old son discovered a big interest in birds this summer after an opportunity to hold a falcon named Connor 🙂 So we chose to look at the book about Zoology. It is so nice and colorful. We have just started using it this week, and have done our first hands on experiment which both my boys participated in. They had alot of fun!!

    Blessings

I have found Home Science Tools to be a great resource for finding hands-on activities for any science program/curriculum.

Thanks for the great suggestions! I checked out both the Apologia Young Explorer series and Home Science Tools website, and they are just what I am looking for!
