Handicraft- clay projects for Sunday School?

Hey all,

Would love some ideas of some things we can make using clay for nursing home residents and shut ins…I have thought of bowls and coasters but any other ideas with a bit more detail that would take many weeks to finish?  We usually have 10-15 min. to work on our handicraft each week and so I am fine for it taking 2-3 months to complete.  Last term we worked on weaving and it worked out well….just thought this might be fun for kids to learn but not sure what to make that would be useful.  Thanks for any ideas!
