I got a free copy of this book today. What are everyone’s opinions on it? The sentences are all so short and seem too simplified….from what I’ve read so far.

We love this and read it daily with our kids (ages 4, 6, 7).  Karyn is a brilliant communicator and we love how in God’s Story she “puts the hay where the lambs can eat it”.  She homeschooled both her sons in the 1980’s and 90’s and has been a pioneer in children’s ministry for many years.  We use many of her resources and I would highly recommend using God’s Story for children’s bible reading.  We told several other families about it and they’ve all loved it too, but it’s out of print now so consider yourself fortunate to have been given a free copy!  It may seem silly to say “God’s worship house” instead of “temple”, but that’s exactly what it is and kid’s ought to hear the Word in a language they can readily comprehend.  I hope you and your family enjoy it as much as we do!
