Hello! Curious if any of you lovelies are attending the Two-Day Charlotte Mason Encouragement Conference in Louisville, KY?
Wondering who might be in attendance. It’s a bit of a drive for me so thinking it through. 🙂

Nursing babies are a delight! We ask only that mamas are considerate of all the other attendees and step out of the room if the baby is becoming loud enough to be a distraction. With some babies that’s easy; others have become show-stoppers. 🙂 You know your baby best. If you think it will be an easy task to enjoy the conference and not detract from others’ enjoyment with Baby present, please bring that precious little one along.

I was seriously considering attending as well and bringing my dh too… he was sort of afraid that he would be the only male! It would be a long drive for us too but worth it!

Alicia, you can tell him that there are at least four other husbands signed up for the Louisville conference so far. And Sonya’s husband John always likes it when he’s not the only husband there. 🙂

I am considering going and bringing my husband because we are less than 2 hours from Louisville. He actually really enjoyed the Teach Them Diligently conference last year and he is pretty uninvolved with the day-to-day homeschooling, other than encouraging me. It would be fun to focus completely on SCM with him by my side.

Checked out the travel route for us to Louisville! Travel time is not as long as we thought…..husband’s family is on the way so it would make the trip even more worth it for him! Still hoping and praying! 🙂 In need of some CM encouragement out here in the midwest.
