As I have mentioned in a previous post, we are beginning Module 1 this year. I currently own Uncle Josh’s Outline Maps, but do not have the suggested Then and Now Bible Maps.
Are both necessary? Will we be confused if we use one and not the other?
missceegeeParticipantHi Lindsey,
I have & use both as they are totally different, but, if I were choosing one, I’d go with Uncle Josh’s CD-rom, for it’s usefulness in map drill. You could use a Bible w/ good (then) maps and compare it to a current (now) map to achieve the purpose of Then and Now Bible Maps. However, it is a nice resource to have on hand to make the comparisons, esp. in modules 1-3.
Blessings,
Christie
HopeMemberAmazon.com has a pullout laminated map that is Then and Now Bible Maps that is only $3.99 by the same people as the “full” version. That’s what I have for now. I’ve not used with the boys yet (we are starting modue 1 next week), but I find it interesting and helpful.
LindseyDParticipantThanks Christie and Hope!
Hope, our first day of school isn’t til Sept. 7. Let me know how you like the pull-out before I buy it. Thanks!
my3boysParticipantWe’re the pull-out maps useful with Mod. 1?? I see that there is a spiral bound one, as well. Would that be worth the cost or not?? Thanks.
And, Lindsey, what did you end up using??
