DIY.org & Hello!

Hello friends! This is my first post. I have been quietly reading all of your questions and advice for about a year now. Thank you for all the helpful chats!

I was just made aware of a promising website: diy.org. Kids can log in, choose a challenge (lots of topics: science, art, engineering, handicrafts), post their work and earn (virtual) badges! This is right up my son’s alley…has anyone tried it? It looks like the perfect place to expose kids to lots of projects and handicrafts they might not otherwise try.
