Do you have recommendations for Living Books that take place in the Desert? I will be in the Arizona Sonoran desert with my 7 &4 year olds for 6 weeks (on vacation), and we are excited about our newfound love of the Charlotte Mason Method.I have the Burgess Bird Book reserved at the library and I’m hopeful there will be other suggestions.

    Thanks in advance

Jim Arnosky has some great books! The two that come to mind are Coyote Raid in Cactus Canyon and Little Burrow.

Yes, yes, YES to Roxaboxen! I adore this book. I think it may be my favorite children’s picture book, and if you’re in the Sonoran desert, you will feel like you’re right there.
