I’m headed up to the city tomorrow to get the supplies for our next creating a masterpiece DVD – Earthenware sculpting Level 1. I don’t have the DVD in hand yet, but on Sharon’s page, she lists the supplies. She mentions the need for acrylic paint, but not for brushes. Is this an oversight? Or do the really not use brushes with the paint? Thanks for the help!
Katrina in AKParticipantYes, that’s an oversight. You paint them after the turtles dry. Have fun!
Laura.boraParticipantAre there specific brushes we should be using?
PhoboParticipantI like to go to dickblick.com, and under registries and lists, you can go to Blick U. If you put Nebraska in the location, Creating a Masterpiece will come up first. From there you can choose exactly which DVD you’re doing and it will show you exactly what you need and Sharon recommends. I find this to be a bit more specific than the actual CaM website.
Hope that helps,
Rachel
PhoboParticipantOkay, I just looked it up, and they don’t have the brushes for that on Blick U either, so I guess that wasn’t helpful advice, lol. But in general, I’ve had success using that site as a reference.
Happy Sculpting!
Rachel
Laura.boraParticipantThanks Rachel – That’s exactly what I did and was perplexed when I didn’t see paint brushes on the list, but paint was.
RebekahyParticipantPost a question on their facebook page and they are usually super responsive, though it’s curriculum fair season so give them a day or two.
