    I’m looking for a compilation of short stories that are living stories. I’ve used many of James Baldwin’s for this particular project* but am looking for others beyond what he has written. Would love your suggestions!

    *We’ve created our own family manual that includes the virtues/character traits that are most important to our family. During a school term, every six weeks we cover a new one and include short stories, along with scripture passages and stories the illustrate each one. I’m looking for a new well to pull from as it relates to these short stories.

    We did a year with Perspectives in Literature: A Book of Short Stories (1 & 2), and loved it.

    Claire, are those used in Christian Light Education high school?  If not, could you please give author/publisher?  Thanks.

    Sure.

    They are 3rd edition published by Holt, Rinehart and Winston, Inc.  ISBN # 0-03-038442-7.

    This is the second book but my first one looks like this too and not like the version of book one on Amazon.  Maybe different editions? Or just a new cover?  HTH
