I was wondering if anyone could tell me any sites or places they may use, to purchase used home school books. I was looking to purchase Math U See Gamma for my son this year. I would need the blocks, skip count CD , test, student book and Teachers manual and DVD. I owned this once and loaned it to a friend who accidentaly sold it forgetting it was mine. Therefore I was hoping to buy it used and not new again. Any ideas would help.
Thanks,
Tracy
momto2blessingsParticipantI have found used Math-U-See, but it’s hit and miss. Places I check are http://www.homeschoolclassifieds.com, http://www.vegsource.com, and whenever I hear of a local homeschool book sale! Sometimes I’ve found items on the Well Trained Mind Sale and Swap board, too. Good luck:) Gina
RebekahyParticipantACK! How do you accidentaly sell borrowed books? Sorry, that doesn’t help. But it does remind me that I need to make a list of which of my friends have borrowed which materials – if for nothing else than I can periodically ask them how they are enjoying using MY “suchandsuch” a book.
There is a Yahoo group for used math u see curriculum to be sold – just go to Yahoo groups and join the MUS Swap group. I’ve bought blocks from there as well as several years worth of used curriculum – even getting UNUSED student texts! It’s the best! Hope that’s helpful!
