Ladies I am looking for some books that my 15 yr old son would be able to read.  They can be fiction or non-fiction.  Here’s the thing he doesn’t like to read.  He is a very good reader, he comprehends wonderfully, he just doesn’t want or have a desire to read.

I am trying to find him something that is like watching NCIS, or any of those detective/police shows.  I like James Patterson for a quick easy read, but sometimes there are things in them I don’t want a young 15 yr old boy to read, not often but sometiimes.  I like other ones also, but it seems like each one has just a hint of something not suitable.

    Any thoughts?

Sherlock Holmes?  Sometimes has some ‘shady’ stuff in it but not more that NCIS.  Sort of twaddly but 39 Clues is also a ‘solving type’ series, and pretty darn clean.  They also focus on history, geography and science.  Mysterious Benedict Society is more puzzle solving than detective, but still a fun read.  I’ll have to keep thinking…..
