My son loves the Dan Frontier books, but I think it’s time to switch him up a bit.  He is just about finished with the Frog and Toad book.  What other suggestions do you have for this stage of reading?  Thanks in advance Misty

We like the Pathway readers – Amish farm type stuff, with good moral lessons.  I think those are recommended in the guide, though, under beginning reading – perhaps you already have them.  We also have some of the readers from Christian Light publications – they are good too.  We have a few of the Henry and Mudge books – the stories we have are fine, but the illustrations are a bit silly.
